Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or using the services of Blue Spruce Landscaping (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Blue Spruce provides residential and commercial landscaping services, including but not limited to:

  • Lawn care and maintenance

  • Landscape design and installation

  • Seasonal cleanups

  • Mulching, planting, and hardscaping
     

All services are subject to availability and may vary based on location within Chicago and surrounding suburbs.

3. Estimates & Pricing

  • All estimates are based on an initial evaluation of the property.

  • Pricing may change if site conditions differ from what was originally assessed.

  • Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Additional work requested after project approval may result in extra charges.

4. Scheduling & Access

  • Clients must provide clear access to the property on scheduled service dates.

  • Delays due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen conditions may result in rescheduling.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control.

5. Payments

  • Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement or invoice.

  • A deposit may be required before starting certain projects.

  • Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

  • We reserve the right to suspend services for unpaid balances.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Clients must provide at least 24 for Residential and 48 hours for Commercial  notice for cancellations.

  • Deposits for scheduled work may be non-refundable depending on the scope of the project.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Mark or disclose underground utilities (sprinklers, cables, etc.)

  • Remove personal items from service areas

  • Ensure pets are secured during service times

Blue Spruce is not liable for damage to undisclosed or hidden structures.

8. Property Conditions & Liability

  • We take all reasonable precautions to protect your property.

  • However, we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, natural wear, or damages caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, soil conditions).

  • Any concerns must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.

9. Warranty

  • Plant material warranties (if offered) are subject to proper care and environmental conditions.

  • No guarantees are made for plant survival due to weather, pests, or neglect

  • Workmanship issues will be addressed if reported promptly.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blue Spruce Landscaping shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, logos, and images, is the property of Blue Spruce Landscaping and may not be used without permissio.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
